Auxiliary raises $50,000 to benefit Neuroscience Institute at MidState

The MidState Medical Center Auxiliary’s 33^rd Annual Golf Tournament at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford raised $50,000 to benefit the Hartford HealthCare Ayer Neuroscience Institute at MidState.

The institute treats more patients than any other center in the region, with experts specializing in stroke, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular diseases, neurosurgery, and general neurology. A dedicated epilepsy center also is part of the institute.

During the golf tournament’s June 13  reception, Dr. Mark Alberts, physician-in-chief of the institute, expressed his gratitude to all those who supported the tournament and shared with guests details about the important services the Neuroscience Institute provides to patients.
