Headache Center comes to MidState
Specialized services for the management of headache was brought to the MidState campus on Nov. 1, 2016 with the addition of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group providers Dr. Abby Chua, DO, and Renee Kane, APRN.
The Hartford HealthCare Headache Center is dedicated to providing excellence in diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders, helping patients minimize pain and increase their ability to function.
The HHC Headache Center was first established in Wethersfield and West Hartford under the leadership of Dr. Brian Grosberg, medical director of the center, and now is at MidState and the Central Region, expanding services further south.
Dr. Chua leads the practice on the MidState campus and brings with her a special expertise. She is a board certified neurologist who specializes in headache medicine. She completed a fellowship at Tomas Jefferson University, a residency at Temple University Hospital, and earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
