Auxiliary

The Central Region Auxiliaries raise funds through a variety of fundraising activities both within the hospitals and through major events in the community open to the public. Throughout the year, the Auxiliaries plan these events. Activities include annual golf tournaments, spring basket drawings, a bi-annual signature event, and the management of the hospitals’ gift shops. The Auxiliaries are proud to be supportive partners to our hospitals and to assist in the fulfillment of our mission.

MidState Medical Center Auxiliary

From its beginning in 1885, our Auxiliary and its members have provided services to the hospital, comforting patients and families through a wide variety of volunteer efforts and financial support. Over the past decade, major contributions to MidState Medical Center have included the Emergency Department, Cancer Institute, Family Birthing Center, Neuroscience Institute and most recently, a $50,000 gift to the Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute at MidState Medical Center.

HOCC-Bradley Memorial Campus Auxiliary

The goal of the Bradley Memorial Auxiliary is to provide long-term commitment of emotional and medical support to the hospital and community. Due to the generosity of the local doctors, Auxiliary membership and all of the Southington community members who support our programs, we have been able to purchase equipment for our Cardiology Department and Emergency Department as well as support other programs in various areas of the hospital. Annually, they recognize our employees and volunteers with a continental breakfast and decorate the hospital for the holidays.
