The Hospital of Central Connecticut and its board of directors proudly honor the life and memory of Angelo Tomasso Jr.
A distinguished board member, generous donor, visionary leader and most important, long-time friend to The Hospital of Central Connecticut, we are fortunate to have known and worked with Mr. Tomasso.
Both our community and hospital have benefitted for more than a half century from his selfless time and generosity. A prior chairman of the former New Britain General Hospital Board, Mr. Tomasso also served on varied hospital committees. He was also quite altruistic and with his wife, Joy, donated more than $1 million to the Angelo and Joy Tomasso & Family Critical Care Tower for our patients. We extend our deepest condolences to his family. We will miss Angelo and will forever be grateful for his contributions, leadership and friendship in support of our community’s health.
