Patient Satisfaction

The following data represents the percentage of inpatients at each entity who rated their satisfaction as a 9 or 10 on a 0 to 10 scale. A score of 9 or 10 represents the two highest ratings on the HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) patient satisfaction survey. This survey is required by CMS (the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) for all hospitals in the United States. The survey is for adult inpatients, excluding psychiatric patients.
